Auto Collect versus 25% Money Boost
Auto Collect (630) stops the walk to the collector. It shines when you leave a free private server running, when you roleplay in someone else’s hallway, or when Cliff Mansion pads sit far from the cash point. It does nothing if you never AFK and you like the walk. Unofficial scripts try to skip this pass; they carry ban risk and often fail on the sequel — see auto farm.
25% Money Boost (400) raises income while you play. It is cheaper than Auto Collect and helps even when you are standing at the collector. It does not cash for you. If you only buy one economy pass and you are active, take the boost. If you only buy one and you AFK, take Auto Collect. Buying both is for people who already finished Classic and are grinding Cliff.
Neither pass replaces pad order. A boosted wallet still wastes money on cars. Keep the starter checklist open until Classic 100% is done.
VIP versus Starter Pack
VIP (325) sits in the awkward middle. It is cheaper than the two money passes and more expensive than every cosmetic except custom car colors. Buy it if you want the VIP label and whatever extras the listing shows on Roblox at purchase time. Do not buy it expecting a codes GUI, a second plot, or split-screen. Mega Mansion 2 visits stay online in 12-player servers.
Starter Pack (123) is the cheapest bundle. It loses to the free group $5,000 if you skipped the join. It wins as a small paid bump after that cash is already in rooms. Compare it on free rewards before you treat 123 Robux as “the beginner requirement.” It is not required.
Run, Super Jump, and cosmetics
Run (35) and Super Jump (39) are snack-priced. Run is the better first snack because you spend the whole session walking pads. Super Jump is for people who already bounce off roofs during house tours. Scripts that add jump/speed exist; they are not safer than 35 Robux.
Car Radio (110) and Custom Car Colors (249) do not grow the collector. Buy them when the estate is a showroom and you care how the driveway looks on a visit. Custom colors cost more than VIP. That is the trap. Paint is not progression.
Double Capacity is off-sale. Do not wait for it to “go on sale tonight” because a video said so. If it returns, we will move it in the rank. Until then it is a ghost listing.
Who should spend zero Robux
Stay free if you:
- Just claimed Welcome To MMT2 and still have group cash.
- Have not finished Classic Mega Mansion.
- Only log in for short visits.
- Were about to buy a pass because a thumbnail said “REQUIRED.”
Autosave and free private servers already remove two common Robux taxes. The tools hub exists so you can close the storefront and go back to pads.
Who should spend once
Buy a single pass if you:
- AFK while building Cliff Mansion → Auto Collect.
- Play active sessions and hate slow cash → 25% Money Boost.
- Want a cheap movement bump → Run.
Wait on VIP and cosmetics until the economy pass you actually use has paid for itself in time saved. Then read Getting Started again only if you skipped rooms while shopping.
Auto Collect is the only pass that consistently buys back its Robux in long sessions. Everything else is comfort, cosmetics, or a closed Double Capacity listing.
